Primary Purpose:
The Manager of Digital Media is responsible for leading Uplift’s overall paid media strategy and execution, in partnership with Uplift’s external agencies. A successful candidate for this role will be a go-getter and creative leader who can be responsive to data from marketing campaigns and drive to ultimate outcomes which include an increase in scholar applications to Uplift schools. The Manager of Digital Media will also collaborate with other members of the marketing and scholar recruitment teams to make sure successful ad campaigns are translating to conversion and ultimately more students across DFW benefiting from an Uplift education.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Physical Demands: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting; repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching; occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).
Work Environment: Uplift allows hybrid remote work. While in the office, the work environment is representative of those an employee encounters while working in an office. The environment requires proximity to other employees, frequent interruptions, extended periods of time viewing a computer screen, and noise levels from moderate to high.
Starting Salary: $65,000

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage and steward Uplift’s paid media investment in partnership with external agencies; responsible for developing media approach, strategy, channel mix and detailed tactical media plans.
- Oversee paid media execution, including audience / targeting strategy and landing page strategy.
- Codify and implement media-specific test-and-learn charter to continually optimize various levers of media approach (channels, platforms, tactics, audiences).
- Develop measurement approach and learning agenda to define KPI’s and measurement for success; serve as conduit between sales/schools to translate business goals into media KPI’s.
- Partner with external agencies to develop paid media reports and insights, incl. developing executive and board-level communications to report ongoing paid media performance and tracking towards recruitment/enrollment goals.
- Collaborate with internal customer acquisition team to ensure all media leads flow properly to CRM.
- Define and implement media operations processes to ensure excellence across campaign execution and reporting.
Education, Experience, and/or Certification(s)
- Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience Requirements: 3+ years of relevant paid media experience (at agency or marketer) across media strategy, channel mix / tactical plan development, and paid media reporting/analytics
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience in managing and partnering with agency teams across all paid media deliverables (strategy, execution, analytics)
- Vast knowledge of digital media required including, audience planning/strategy, programmatic, paid social, search as well as hands-on-keyboard media platform experience (social media platforms, programmatic platforms and marketing technology experience) helpful
- Previous experience in partnering with cross-functional teams (i.e. sales, comms/PR) to deploy media strategy and tactics to support multitude of business needs and efforts
- Strong collaborator
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Effective communicator both in written and oral formats
