Primary Purpose:
The Road to College and Career Intern will support the Road to College and Career team and/or other department teams in planning and executing summer strategic priorities, programs and initiatives. This role will be based out of the Uplift CMO Dallas office but may offer flexibility of remote work (determined by intern lead).

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and use the wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work at a desk and computer screen for extended periods of time.
Work Environment: Some district-wide travel required. Occasional prolonged and irregular hours required.
Starting Salary: $20/hr

- Collaborate with department teams to develop new initiatives
- Support with planning, implementation, and execution of department events
- Copy, organize, and distribute materials
- Other project-based duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and/or Certification(s)
- Education Requirements: Expected college graduation date between December 2023 and December 2025.
- Experience Requirements: Previous research work, project and presentation completion.
- Special Skills/Certifications: People skills, adaptability, critical thinking, growth mindset, collaboration, creativity, timeliness, resourcefulness
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Communication Skills: Strong analytical, communication and writing skills
- Bilingual Skills: Not required.
- Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, G-Suite, Canva, Asana, Qualtrics
