Primary Purpose:
The Scholar Recruiting Project Manager will be responsible for streamlining processes and procedures within the Scholar Recruiting department; assist in executing recruiting initiatives; executes all budgeting/purchasing needs; monitors scholar application lead tracking & conversions through the CRM; analyze and report ROI data for the Scholar Recruitment team.

  • Assists the Director of Scholar Recruitment with executing Uplift’s recruitment strategies at both regional and network-wide levels, as assigned.
  • Manages Scholar Recruitment budgeting/requisitioning for all regional and network-wide expenditures.
  • Works directly with Scholar Recruiting Managers to coordinate marketing/communication needs for upcoming events and projects.
  • Actively pursues, solidifies & connects potential partners with Dallas-Fort Worth area Regional Scholar Recruiting Managers that will aid in Uplift Education’s recruiting efforts.
  • Research, negotiate and schedule tabling opportunities throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area for Recruiting Managers/Interns.
  • Keep/maintain up-to-date master calendar for all recruiting events and share across the Scholar Recruitment team.
  • Assist in lead tracking from tabling opportunities & events in the Scholar Recruitment CRM tool.
    • Track, combine and upload databases of prospective families, tracking through recruiting stages of applicant    lifecycle (interested, applicant).
  • Assist in leading the parent volunteer “Boots on the Ground” initiative for recruitment.
  • Assist in planning detailed scholar recruitment events (as assigned), inclusive of managing the budget and organizing logistics (e.g., finding locations, developing materials, organizing & training volunteers).
  • Collaborate with Director of Scholar Recruiting & Marketing team to review, analyze and share marketing, application & ROI datapoints to the Scholar Recruiting Managers, Sr. Director and Chief of External Affairs.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Scholar Recruiting to strategically execute new recruitment initiatives when applicable.

Education, Experience, and/or Certification(s)
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required; Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
  • Experience Requirements: Experience in project management or recruiting role highly desired, previous education experience preferred but not required.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and individuals. Ability to conduct training and informational sessions for internal and public audience.
  • Bi-lingual Skills: Ability to speak Spanish is preferred, but not required.
  • Technology: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be competent in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) and ability to learn and use computer software as necessary.

Work Environment: Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Dallas/Ft Worth and surrounding areas (reimbursement for mileage included). Events may be hosted outdoors or indoors in varying weather conditions.

Starting Salary: $65,000
