Dear friends of Uplift,

I hope everyone is enjoying the warmer days of spring.  As we push toward the end of this school year, we are optimistic that our efforts are making an impact for our scholars and that the results will speak for themselves.  I was honored to write an Op Ed detailing the results that we have seen through high impact tutoring for some of our youngest scholars.  Uplift has been piloting this one-on-one tutoring program, which takes place during the school day, for the past 18 months, and we have been highly pleased with the outcomes toward improving childhood literacy.

One of our core values is to Inspire Innovation. As a network, we will continue to seek ways to creatively educate our scholars, and not be confined by “how it has always been done.”  We know that as the world changes and evolves, our approach to education will also evolve in ways that help our children reach their full potential.
